Art and more in Ocean County
Recently we attended the Toms River Arts Stroll in the downtown area in one of the more prominent towns of the Jersey Shore, (you guessed it) Toms River. The scene has been on again/ off again for years, but lately the resurgence is undeniable. There was a car show, live music, local artists showing their sculptures and paintings, and the businesses were actually (gasp!) OPEN! We met up with a few people who are responsible for the burgeoning culture of the area, and were promised that there is much more to come.
We're excited to see what springs from this, from the rapidly growing scene at Meanbean, to the events shutting down the streets every month. A breath of fresh air is much needed, and it seems the Township has the drive to provide.
As far as what we're up to behind the scenes here at Karma Cartel, we'll be releasing our first ever FRAGRANCE LINE early next month, and we've partnered with the one and only BethKaya to bring it to you. More information to come soon! Until then, keep on #TRYINTOGETITALL
