AFTER THE STORM: HOW WE ARE TRYING TO HELP

As you know, Karma Cartel was founded on the Jersey Shore. We’ve had three great years of culture, fashion, art, and even partying. At the end of every day, however, we still believe in Karma, so we try to be as charitable as we can and give back to the community we as a company grew up in.

Recently, our beloved shoreline has be devastated by Hurricane Sandy (Maybe you’ve heard of her). Families have been left without homes, food, and power. Some have even lost their loved ones. The Jersey Shore has been officially declared a disaster site.

This photo was taken from the site of the Los Angeles Times. It is of Seaside Heights, a mile away from where we live.

We are still a small company, but we decided it was time for us to step in and give what we could afford. For the entire month of November, half of everything we make at www.karmacartel.com is going to be donated directly to families left struggling in the wake of this terrible storm. A lot of our fans and followers are from different parts of the world, from Australia to the UK, and from all corners of the United States. Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help. Here’s one way you can.

In addition to the donation of our sales, we are also organizing a cleanup effort for later this month/ early December. We will be looking for strong hands and big hearts to go directly to the disaster sites and shelters and help out in any way we can. Seeing as we are a clothing company, we will also hold a clothing drive. If you are interested in being a part of our crew, please email us at karmacartelclothing@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for reading.
Please share this message. Let’s work together to help.
